Debut album "Reverie" from Fortitude!

In addition to his artwork, Pip (aka Phil Pike) also plays guitar and writes music in two bands. 'Fortitude!' are a rock band formed in 2015 who regularly play live in the South West of England performing both classic rock and pop covers as well as their own original songs. In 2021 they released their debut album of original songs called 'Reverie (Tales of Experienced Adolescents)'. At the time of writing this article the album has performed really well, amassing over 100,000 streams on Spotify as well as receiving radio play on local radio stations such as Radio Bath, FromeFM and Somer Valley FM. Pip also painted an original piece of art for the album cover.

About Fortitude!

Fortitude! are a 4-piece rock band based in the UK. We are: Dan Rogers (Drums), Jody Knight (Bass), Phil Pike (Guitar) and Ben Evans (Guitar and lead vocals).

We started life in 2015 spending a few years building up a set list of rock covers to share some cracking music with our audiences.

In early 2018 we penned our first song ‘Here I Am’ and over the next 18 months we slowly built up our original song list to ten, which led to us making Reverie, our debut album. None of us are 20-something, or even 30-something(!), anymore but we like to think that our collective experience and never-aging approach to life combines to make some memorable songs that resonate with others.

Our music is written from our experiences, dreams, desires and reflects the culmination of our lives and we very much hope that there is at least one song in the album that means something to you whoever you are.

Please feel free to contact us, we would genuinely love to hear from you. Email info@fortitude.band
