Raw, riveting, and radiating defiance. This portrait of Hazel O’Connor channels the explosive energy of Breaking Glass, the cult film that launched her into icon status. Her open mouthed scream, rendered in icy blues and stormy greys, cuts through the darkness like a siren of rebellion. Vivid yellow cracks slash across the composition, echoing the chaos and urgency of the film’s soundtrack, a sonic masterpiece that Hazel wrote and performed with unforgettable intensity.
This piece is more than a tribute, it’s a call to action. In light of the tragic health challenges Hazel has faced in recent years, half of all profits from sales of this print will be donated directly to her recovery fund.
