Step into the emotional architecture of Songs From The Big Chair with this evocative canvas tribute to Tears For Fears. Rendered in bold contrasts and dripping textures, this portrait captures the duality at the heart of the album - vulnerability and defiance, intimacy and grandeur. Curt and Roland, painted in stark whites, yellow ochre and moody blues, seem suspended in thought, their expressions echoing the introspective power of tracks like “Shout” and “Everybody Wants to Rule the World.”
The abstract green/blue backdrop bleeds like memory, adding depth and tension to the composition. Pip’s signature style fuses pop art precision with raw emotional storytelling, making this print a must have for fans of Tears For Fears and the timeless ache of 80s synth rock.
Let it all out. This canvas speaks the language of longing, legacy, and layered sound.
Tears For Fears (Canvas Prints)
This print is reproduced from Pip's original hand painted acrylic artwork. It is brought to life on a premium canvas giclée print, designed to showcase every detail with rich depth and vibrant colours. The work is one of a series of 10 paintings from Wirral based artist Pip that form the ‘New Romantics’ collection.
Canvas prints are available in 4 sizes:
- Small 12" x 12" (30cm x 30cm)
- Medium 20" x 20" (50cm x 50cm)
- Large 28" x 28" (70cm x 70cm)
- Extra Large 40" x 40" (100cm x 100cm).
The artwork is printed on to a high quality poly-cotton blend canvas that is wrapped around a thick wooden pine frame that sits off the wall. The print image wraps around the sides of the frame so is perfect to hang straight on to the wall without framing.
Alternatively choose to add a black or white floater frame that create a striking 'floating' effect, giving the art an elegant, modern touch.
Please note that some of the images are provided for illustrative purposes to show how the canvas print is constructed. The actual shipped print will use the specific painting of the selected product ordered.
