Swirling, spectral, and unmistakably yours. This artwork, painted by Pip and chosen as the official cover for the At the BBC album, captures The Rose of Avalanche in a haze of gothic psychedelia. Each band member is rendered in stylised purple tones, emerging from a marbled storm of pinks and whites that pulse with post punk energy. The composition blends pop art precision with atmospheric depth, echoing the band’s brooding melodies and underground mystique.
This piece isn’t just a tribute, it’s the real thing. Commissioned and immortalised on the album sleeve, it stands as a testament to Pip’s ability to translate sound into striking visual form.
