Bold, brooding, and bursting with tension. Don’t Go captures Yazoo’s signature duality: Alison Moyet’s powerhouse vocals and Vince Clarke’s icy synth precision. Rendered in stark monochrome, the portrait pairs their iconic silhouettes with a cascade of fragmented lyrics that echo like a desperate plea. The bold “Yazoo” header anchors the piece in 80s synthpop legacy, while the high contrast style evokes the emotional urgency of the track’s unforgettable hook.
Pip’s tribute transforms sonic electricity into visual rhythm. A must have for fans of Yazoo, New Wave collectors, and art that sings with soul and circuitry.
Can’t stop now, this canvas won’t let you go.
Yazoo - Don't Go (Canvas Prints)
This print is reproduced from Pip's original hand painted acrylic artwork. It is brought to life on a premium canvas giclée print, designed to showcase every detail with rich depth and vibrant colours. The work is one of a series of 10 paintings from Wirral based artist Pip that form the ‘Eighties Synthpop’ collection.
Canvas prints are available in 4 sizes:
- Small 12" x 12" (30cm x 30cm)
- Medium 20" x 20" (50cm x 50cm)
- Large 28" x 28" (70cm x 70cm)
- Extra Large 40" x 40" (100cm x 100cm).
The artwork is printed on to a high quality poly-cotton blend canvas that is wrapped around a thick wooden pine frame that sits off the wall. The print image wraps around the sides of the frame so is perfect to hang straight on to the wall without framing.
Alternatively choose to add a black or white floater frame that create a striking 'floating' effect, giving the art an elegant, modern touch.
Please note that some of the images are provided for illustrative purposes to show how the canvas print is constructed. The actual shipped print will use the specific painting of the selected product ordered.
